About Myself

I was born in a small town called Malmesbury. I did my primary education at Riverlands Primary School. I completed my high school education at Schoonspruit Secondary school.

After years of working in a factory I applied for a full time course at CPUT Wellington. I actually wanted to study teaching but could not because my subjects I passed did not match the criteria. I was accepted to do Sport Management which I love because sport is my passion. I have been playing netball and doing athletic since primary school up until I started to study.

As part of my National Diploma in Sport Management I needed to do a six months in service training which I did at West Coast College in Malmesbury. My duties was to manage all 5 campuses sports codes. The five campuses were, Malmesbury, Atlantis, Vredendal, Vredenburg, Citrusdal. I arranged sport events for students to participate as well as to raise funds. I worked very well with all the sport committee members of the different campuses. For every sport code we played tournaments at the different campuses. We also entered a competition where we played rugby, netball and soccer against College of Cape Town where we won the rugby and the netball games.
I graduated with my National Diploma in April 2016.

I am married with a wonderful husband and 2 cute boys, one fourteen and one ten years of age. They are my main inspiration to get a degree in life. I love spending quality time with my family. They mean the world to me.

Singing is my hobby and I love to sing. I am part of a group called New Voices as well as part of my church Worship Team. I usually sing at functions like weddings, 21st parties, music festivals, funerals etc.

I am currently doing my Post Graduate Certificate at CPUT Mowbray.
